Polling Shows That Americans Are Turning Against Trump

I’ve struggled to understand why so many Americans support the actions of a president that have led to more than 100,000 Americans dying on American soil and have plunged the U.S. economy to its worst unemployment since the Great Depression.

But it looks like many Americans are finally waking up to the fact that the U.S. is a global outlier in its response to COVID-19 and that the lead culprit is Donald Trump.

The change in COVID-19 sentiment reflects polling showing that Joe Biden’s lead over Trump is increasing (charts courtesy of FIveThirtyEight). I’ll continue to publish significant polling updates as they come out.
