Understanding The Uighur Human Rights Situation In China

In case you aren’t aware, there are widespread human rights violations happening in China where the Chinese government has captured and “re-educated” more than a million Uighur muslims (pronounced WE-GUR). As John Oliver explains in simple terms, this is the largest religious detainment of people since the Holocaust.

Obviously the Chinese government doesn’t want the world to know about this. But it’s a major issue and having some awareness about this is important.
