This Election Isn’t Left vs. Right, It’s Humanity vs. Racism/Sexism/Hatred

This past weekend I cold-called potential voters in swing states and I had respectful conversations with both Trump and Biden supporters.

It helped me to fully process that, despite what the media says, people with different ideological viewpoints are not our enemies. Because we are all humans and we are all on the same team.

The only enemies to humanity are people like Trump who seek to divide the human race by means of race, gender, or hate.

This election is the first one in my lifetime that isn’t about left vs. right, it’s about humanity vs. racism/sexism/hatred.

The ramifications of four more years of racist and divisive rhetoric from our President will likely take at least multiple decades to untangle.

Even if you strongly disagree with Biden on almost every issue, I hope that you can put your ideological differences aside for this one election and vote in support of humanity, unity, and democracy.

We’re humans first, Americans second, and political ideology third. Please keep this in mind when you vote and make sure to talk about this if/when you speak with potential voters.

Much love 🙏
